I had been waiting for Nicola & Will’s wedding day for what seemed like forever! We met at Nicola’s sister Louise’s wedding two years before. And having got to know this truly wonderful family, I knew it would be the most special day!
The wedding day started at The Tunbridge Wells Hotel, where I captured some of the grooms preparations. Just as Will got dressed into his very dapper Mark Darcey tweed suit, the bridesmaids knocked with a surprise wedding gift from Nicola, two tickets to New York!! Beautifully presented with a “big apple” and very special Watch. Unsurprisingly Will was completely blown away! This was such a beautiful memory to be able to capture.
Over with the girls, Roisin Kinch was on hand for hair and makeup, and once Nicola stepped into her stunning dress from Helena Fortley, & pretty strappy Paradox Pink shoes, she instantly took everyone’s breath away! She looked so very stunning.
For the wedding ceremony and reception we headed to the charming High Rocks, in Tunbridge Wells, where Nicola’s talented cousin was singing beautifully, while Will was waiting patiently. There were many touching moments about the ceremony, especially when the couple read out vows they had written for each other. As they shares so many wonderful memories with their closest family & friends, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
I loved every personal touch the couple had made themselves, such as all of the signs, favour tags and table name maps created by the Nicola, and easels made by Will. The real autumn leaves to complemented the absolutely stunning flowers, by Pipers Florist. A shout out to Carol at Cut Above Productions, who filmed the day and a pleasure to work alongside.
When the evening fell, Buddalicious created an awesome atmosphere on the dance floor, entertaining all the guests in their own energetic and interactive way. What a fabulous ending to a perfect day. Thank you Nicola & Will for having me along for the ride, and I wish you all the happiness in the world x
