London Wedding | Lucy & Steve

I think it’s safe to say Lucy & Steve’s London wedding will go down in the history books as the rainiest wedding I’ve ever photographed. Oh boy did we get soaked! But I’m happy to say that the weather didn’t dampen the spirit of the day at all.

Lucy got ready at her family home in east London with her bridesmaids and flowergirl, where Louise Large hair and make-up and Abi Rose made all the girls look as gorgeous as can be. When Lucy slipped into her beautiful Jesus Peiro gown and glamorous Jimmy Choo heels, she looked absolutely breathtaking.

From there it was a short, but super rainy drive to English Martyrs Church in Prescott Street, where Lucy & Steve exchanged their vows. For the reception we made our way to The HAC, a fantastic historical building, which was truly a great pleasure to photograph.

The cake by Charlottes Cake and Chocolate took centre stage and Teresa Fagan had created the most amazing flower arrangements. Every guest had a wonka bar and possibly a golden ticket, which I thought was a really nice touch!

As the guests relaxed and enjoyed the wedding breakfast, prepared by Kudos catering, talented singer Douglas Elm had everyone dancing in their seats as he performed so many great Motown classics. It was also such a pleasure working with Anneka Ireland again, who filmed the day and I cannot wait to see the results!

What an incredible occasion it was! Congratulations Lucy & Steve, I wish you so much happiness for the future! x
